Why choose steel silos?
Compared with traditional concrete silos, steel silos offer a short build cycle (weeks vs. months) and a controlled unit cost, and they can be relocated, expanded as needed, and sealed tightly — core advantages. Hot-dip galvanized steel plate ensures a 15–25 year service life. Combined with a temperature-controlled ventilation system, grain can be stored safely for 1–3 years without spoiling.

I. Flat-Bottom Steel Silos — The Economical Choice for Large Capacity
Flat-bottom steel silos are the mainstream choice for large-scale storage. The body is assembled on site from galvanized corrugated steel plate with high-strength bolts, with diameters from 5.5 m to 31.4 m and a single-silo capacity exceeding 20,000 tonnes. Widely used in grain depots, port transshipment, oil, flour, and brewing industries.

II. Cone-Bottom Steel Silos — The Efficient Choice for Gravity Discharge
The defining feature of cone-bottom steel silos is complete gravity discharge using the material's own weight, leaving no residue after unloading and needing no manual handling or extra sweeping equipment — saving both power and labor, with lower foundation cost. An ideal choice for feed mills, flour mills, oil plants, seed storage, and the chemical industry.

III. Square Steel Silos, Maximizing Space Utilization
The greatest advantage of square steel silos is extremely high space efficiency — the square cross-section can be mounted flush against walls and combined side by side smoothly, achieving maximum storage in a limited footprint, for indoor or outdoor installation. Widely used in grain processing as raw-material buffer silos, intermediate silos, and finished-goods silos.

Square silo cross-section and height are fully customizable without fixed-mold limits. IV. Insulated Steel Silos
An insulation layer (fiberglass wool / polyurethane foam / rock wool) is added to the outside wall of a standard steel silo, with a profiled galvanized color plate as the protective skin. This effectively solves condensation and mold in regions with large temperature swings, delivering concrete-silo-level insulation at lower cost and faster construction. Available as standard or airtight insulated silos, suited to Central Asia, Russia, northern China, and other areas with large day-night temperature differences, as well as long-term storage of temperature-sensitive high-value materials such as seed.

Conveying & elevating
Bucket elevators TDTG series (15–1,500 t/h), enclosed scraper conveyors TGSS series (25–1,600 t/h), air-cushion belt conveyors QDJ/SQDJ series (50–4,500 t/h), screw conveyors TLSS series. All Sinograin-listed, sized to any silo group.
Temperature-controlled ventilation
Bottom centrifugal fans + roof induced-draft fans + intelligent ventilation control cabinet. Multi-point temperature cables monitor in-silo grain temperature in real time, with auto-alarm and fan start on over-temperature. A recirculation fumigation system is optional for forced, even gas distribution and pest control.
Cleaning & dedusting
Cylinder pre-cleaners (SCQY, 10–300 t/h), vibrating screens (TQLZ, 20–260 t/h), destoners (TQSF, 4.5–30 t/h), magnetic separators (TCXT, 5–75 t/h). Dedusting: high-pressure pulse MC(Y) / low-pressure pulse TBLM, ≥99% efficiency.
Auxiliary machinery
Hydraulic tipping platforms (fast truck unloading), sweeping augers (flat-bottom silo cleaning), rotary distributors (material routing across silos), elevator head towers (galvanized all-bolt structure + stairs + maintenance platform).
